Pros

Free lunch at office twice a week

Cons

Company initially felt like a promising and inspiring place to work, but the recent layoffs have drastically changed the environment. The layoffs were abrupt, poorly communicated, and lacked transparency, leaving employees feeling blindsided and insecure. For those who remain, the workplace has become uncomfortable, with morale at an all-time low. The CEO’s speeches, which once motivated and united the team, now feel disconnected and uninspiring. The company appears to have strayed from its core values, with little regard for employee well-being or fostering a positive culture. Reports of senior management shouting at employees in private have further created a toxic and demoralizing atmosphere. Overall, the company’s handling of these situations has been disappointing, and it’s hard to recommend Source.ag as a workplace until significant improvements are made.

Pros

Good place for people who are good at showing off.

Cons

When I received the offer, I was excited to join one of the top 10 startups in the Netherlands. However, from my very first days at the company, it became clear that there was no structured plan in place. Their approach to onboarding is practically nonexistent—they believe that simply showing you around a greenhouse is enough, and after that, you’re on your own. Critical job-related information is often withheld, not out of malice, but due to poor management. One of the biggest problems in my team is the culture of backstabbing. Instead of working together to solve issues, people quickly shift the blame onto others to protect themselves. Unfortunately, this behavior is enabled by upper management, who fail to create a supportive and collaborative environment. As a result, there is no real teamwork or support in the company—everyone is focused on looking good rather than working together. On top of that, salary raises are nearly impossible. Instead of fair evaluations, they provide ridiculous feedback just to justify not increasing salaries. It feels like they are actively looking for excuses to avoid rewarding employees for their work. Working at Source continues to be my worst professional experience.

Pros

The team is young and driven, overall the atmosphere is ok

Cons

The company has drastically declined in culture. After two rounds of poorly-handles lay-offs, the team is de-motivated and the people who actually have good intentions for the company are leaving. The salaries are not great and people generally lost their trust with management.
