Pros

Passionate and talented teams working on iconic games and platforms. Strong brand recognition and access to cutting-edge technology. Supportive and inclusive work culture that values creativity and collaboration. Flexible working options, including 5 day WFH. Office for “Key Moments”. Solid benefits package including healthcare, discounts, and bonus opportunities. Opportunities to work with global teams and learn from a diverse set of professionals.

Cons

Like many large companies, decision making can be slow and is often siloed. Career progression seems like it requires navigating plenty of internal politics. Communication from upper management can sometimes lack transparency, although it’s been improving recently. Workload can spike around major launches or milestones, and generally it’s hard to find the right work life balance - especially when working with US colleagues.

Pros

Good culture in my department. Positive, supportive, professional. Work life balance has improved. Generally less crunch culture, although overtime hasn't completely disappeared. It happens but in my view the company does seem to be making efforts to avoid crunch as much as possible. Benefits are good.

Cons

Culture depends on the team. It's a big company and sometimes you may work with different departments, studios or teams who aren't supportive or professional. Can take a long time for the company to deal with problematic employees. Decision making from company leadership can be baffling. Limited opportunities for advancement. This has always been true, but it has gotten worse due to the economy and a certain administration. Pay could be better.
