Pros
- It's an Account Manager role, where you only deal with existing clients (it's always a warm call and they generally know who you are). - You can be creative in terms of targeting other departments, countries or even subsidiaries than the ones using Smartsheet. - You are supported by a Customer Success Manager, who will help with adoption and trainings whenever you ask them - that way, customers will always welcome your calls and approach because you're their "friend" :) - Smartsheet is loved by customers and I've never had anyone complain about it - The company is great in terms of processes: no approval needed for quotes, you can do up to 100% discount if you want without approval (although it wouldn't be strategic), no terms of business struggle or anything like that, it's easy and quick to close deals - Salary is great - Remote flexibility - Free food on Thursdays
Cons
- Smartsheet is pretty technical, it took me time to master demos (it's like an Excel) - but you have dozens of solution consultants available - No dedicated SDR (there are some, but they don't work FOR you) - A few inbound leads but not much (although, that wouldn't change from most companies)
