Pros
- Strong, supportive culture with genuinely friendly colleagues. - Excellent flexibility and healthy work–life balance. - Great growth opportunities, especially for those willing to develop and stretch. - Clear and motivating strategic direction under the current CEO. - Good access to training and development resources. - Innovative spirit and a genuine willingness to explore new ideas. - Globally impressive products & brand.
Cons
- Some internal processes are unnecessarily complex, creating inefficiencies. - Still quite “German at its core,” which can slow decision‑making and agility in a global context, and a naturally conservative approach. - Pay progression is slow and not always transparent. - Continual financial pressure and “do more with less” messaging is demotivating when the company stock is performing strongly. - UK paternity leave is significantly below industry standards (albeit full pay for 2 weeks, which is above statutory), especially compared to other tech companies. - Headcount appears heavily concentrated in finance functions, while other areas operate with lean teams and high workload. - Sadly the Poole office is far below the global standard for offices we see in the rest of the country and world (we are looking forward to a site relocation however).
