Pros
Shopping.com offered a whole kitchen of free snacks, drinks, and even small meals. As funny as it sounds, this is actually a huge benefit! It makes it easier to communicate and work through lunch, without leaving the office. Also, the technical staff is filled with some very bright people, and working with bright people is always bonus.
Cons
Shopping.com severely underpaid people in it's IT Operations department. They were purchased by Ebay, and they have been in the process of bringing new hires in line with Ebay's salary range, which is a good thing. However, the people that were with the company before the acquisition are largely getting screwed. This was the main reason why I left. I was being underpaid by 10s of thousands of dollars.
