Pros

- Good opportunity for fresh grads starting out - Decent pay (at first) - Young culture, fun, friendly office atmosphere - other than quarter end rush period, work hours are quite consistent

Cons

- Unfair target-setting,...individual quotas are set based on your boss' quota instead of what's realistically achievable based on historical trends. Some in the team are given more than their quota needs, while others slave through the quarter trying to get each and every cent and still not hit their numbers - Quota adjustments mid-quarter...sometimes 3 times in the same quarter!! I've seen a poor bloke who never achieves quota because of this - Clueless managers who have no idea how the business works at the ground level. Those capable internally-promoted managers who know their stuff have all left the company within the past few months - In some accounts, lots of admin work and yet you are constantly nagged to call call call End-Users till they are annoyed with you ( "HIII just to follow up") - The data in CRM is an obstruction to work instead of any help - This is a typical high stress and low control job = poor job satisfaction

Pros

If you don’t want to advance your career it’s a good place to be.

Cons

There are no raises for employees regardless of performance. There’s a high turnover with counselor and admin positions
