Pros

Amazing culture and even better technology stack. Rate of growth and leadership is inspiring and a great place to be from a learning and earning perspective. Like lots of others I joined from one of the even bigger tech houses and haven’t looked back 1 year+ in! I have never sold a technology that (most) C-Suites are as invested in and focused on as ServiceNow. The sales focused culture and senior resource here to support on deals makes this a great place to be!

Cons

Change is constant but to be expected given growth, partner network is also questionable in places but just catching up. First 6 months are a baptism of fire for most given the amount you have to learn and complexity within customers. I worked (and still do) some silly hours but you get out what you put in.. quarterly well-being days off make up for this too.

Pros

ServiceNow had a differentiated platform and products. Early on the culture had a startup energy that was rare for a company this size collaborative teams, ownership, and a sense that people actually cared about outcomes. Working with large enterprise customers on complex workflows was interesting work.

Cons

The ServiceNow I joined was a different company. As headcount increased, so did the bureaucracy, layers, and friction that rewarded politics over execution. The layoffs of the last few years were handled poorly little transparency, inconsistent communication, and decisions that felt made far above with little thought for the people affected. The "cost optimization" messaging rang hollow against continued executive spending. For a company that sells workflow and people process tools, the irony of a chaotic RIF wasn't lost on anyone in the field or on customers. Leadership political dynamics were real. The right team, the right manager you had cover. Performance alone didn't protect you.
