gratis (when it was finally given!)

Micromanagement ! Treated like a 5 year old; favoritism-2 other cast left when I did=turnover increasing because cast treated poorly; Sephora favors client #1 and their employees dead last! Different rules for different people; Hourly pay is a joke-make more money anywhere else; annual P4D is another joke-happy talk; hours always being cut; My educational background higher than most leadership yet treated as just an ignorant employee! Zones are so restricted you cannot move and clients notice!! Also, the constant "searching" through employee purses, bags, etc. is totally demeaning-as if all are criminals;

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
