Pros
The orientation and initial shift manager meet-up is promising. If you are customer orientated type of guard, working in high-end environment is best. You'll reassure the client that somebody is staying vilgilant, and not sleeping on the job, and you deter negative situations by being present. Upper management recognizes your work ethic in the higher-end client accounts.
Cons
Down the ranks on big accounts things get a little frustrating. Your daily log is very important. Don't listen to 'fellow' guards who do not take their assignment seriously. In the end a good work ethic is appreciated and the client will see it, even if your immediate lead does not. There are slow gigs- but the reward is excellence. Do your job, and let no one hinder you with their laziness.
