Pros
Not many pros other than the comic relief provided by inept management. If I had to list a pro I'd have to say that Sanmina taught me that working for multi-million dollar manufacturing companies one is typically thought of as an expendable employee.
Cons
The work week is 37.5 hours so that the company does not have to pay benefits. At the same time, employees are expected to work overtime on weekends both Saturday and Sunday resulting in far more than 37.5 hours per week, a 6 to 7 day work week and, still no benefits. Thus, the company does not appear to show any care or appreciation for their employees; you are a robot. Poor management and communication between departments causes departments to be thrown into a state of confusion. Also the majority of management appear to be on some kind of ego trip while at the same time not knowing much at all about the product or the job. No chance for advancement as demonstrated by management who have maintained the same job and department for over 10 years.
