Company is not structured well enough to actually deliver the innovative ideas; people don't understand the vision or what the framework is to deliver it. I know they are working on it, but still very siloed which in turn means people are not able to look at the bigger picture, even if they want to. Huge lack of communication and understanding of what's going on outside of their immediate world.
There is a big culture of middle management being bullish and laying down the law vs leading the company through tough times of change. Have heard conversations of 'if they don't like it, they can leave' which in my opinion is appalling. People are being empowered to make decisions (which is good), but in practice is creating a nasty hierarchical culture.
