I worked at Sage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pension plan, health insurance, paid and organised volunteer time, sometimes free fruits or sweets, free tea, milk

    Cons

Destructive company philosophy where employees have to fight and argue for everything to improve tasks or themselves in the company, unnecessarily pushing employees to their absolute limit just to see how they react, poor internal training, management is not interested in supporting their own employees or to use their potential

    Advice to Management

Your employees are your most valuable asset, treat them like that. You are surrounded by vibrant and innovative companies, but you are lacking that when you keep sticking to your old model and outdated ideas.

I have been working at Sage full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great people, good salary, good benefits, good worklife balance and many career progression opportunities. Sage is a really great company to work for. The Sage mamagement team has really listened to employee feedback over the last few years and has made massive efforts to address the concerns that were highlighted. Changing their business model to SaaS meant many big changes in the company and these have made it... feel like a really big startup at times.

    Cons

Some systems and processess do not work well and this can be frustrating at times.

    Advice to Management

There are still some challenges to overcome, many of which are process related. This is the same with any business of this size. Overall keep driving the positive change in the business, it is making a difference.

I have been working at Sage full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great company to work for in terms of benefits and their openness for working from home. I work in a great team with a great leader who looks after his department with a 'people first' attitude. They are making great strides in changing the overall culture and becoming a great SaaS company and I believe they can do it.

    Cons

Based on the market place, they are slow to pay people what they deserve. Not all departments are as great as the one I work in.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Great change is taking place and will continue to make it a great place to work
