Toxic work environment, terrible management. My manager had zero technical experience and was leading an entirely technical team, seemed to have zero experience being a manager in general, she was dating the Tech Lead so that would explain a lot. The company enacts weird archaic rules such as no phones are allowed in the office. Meetings with management are recorded only with notes made my the managers themselves, a lot of people lie to cover themselves, feels like 1984 in there. Even though I worked strictly on internal software for the company I was forced to sit and listen in on client calls as if I my role was one of the customer support agent. The staff are stretched so much that they couldn't give any training, people are constantly looking over your shoulder due to the "open office" environment. I was told off like a child for listening to a podcast during work, whilst I would constantly catch people online shopping during work hours. Never work here, I doubt the company will even be operating in a few years, their stock price has tanked 90% over the past 5 years and keeps dropping.
