Pros
Opened the door. Flexible working.
Cons
Overall, my experience as a graduate at SLR was disappointing. While the first 10–11 months were relatively positive, the support and attitude toward my development shifted noticeably thereafter. I was not given the opportunity to grow or take on more responsibility, and there was a clear lack of guidance around project and process management — raising questions about whether those leading truly understood these areas themselves. It became evident that my manager did not believe in my potential to step up, which proved to be a serious misjudgment. In my current role, I am now successfully managing larger, more complex projects on the client side — something I was never given the chance to do at SLR. In hindsight, SLR was not a supportive environment for graduates. The lack of development opportunities and active limitations placed on my progression made it a poor place to begin a career.
