Pros

Great for entry level, one of the few places that were not afraid to hire “green”. Relatively good leadership. Hours were alright, some OT was available but it was pretty structured so you didn’t HAVE to do it. They were always open for cross training so long as your work didn’t suffer for it.

Cons

No upward mobility. The senior members had been working together for a long time and it didn’t seem as though they were going to change positions anytime soon, also, they all spoke Russian (native language) when discussing things during work-hours, so that was irritating at times (I do not speak Russian). They (usually) updated us techs after discussing, but it always felt like we were missing something. Other than that, the job was pretty good.

leaders and we always open to training our employees. I am sorry you felt missed out with the Russian speaking. As a transparent company you should have felt at ease to speak to your management about it. I will make sure this issue is given to management in Elgin.
