Pros
The technical projects are very interesting. In land and air network core system, back-office system, intranet, internet sectors. It is possible to work on very complex projects, with more than fifteen, and maybe twenty, different skill sectors (sales, marketing, coordination, other project managers, technical support, software and hardware experts, solution providers, web agency ...) And the very competitive business sector need an high reactivity.
Cons
The political relations are too important : You must know the right person to get one thing you need ! Work is too divided between many people in a project. It is almost impossible to promise a "Time To Market" to your Manager ! And when you want to switch to another job in the company, you just can get one in the same skill.
