Pros
I have worked at robusta as a web developer. Got to learn different stack of technologies and apply them on different business domains. Got a chance to be wrong and to learn from failures; hence grow technically and professionally. Got exposed to the business side by handling clients/customers sometimes. The CEO spoke about being a leader in E-Commerce development 5 years ago and this year they organized the E-Commerce summit. Amazing planning on the business growth side. They have a certain standard in hiring, technically speaking; so good engineers (and personalities) will be your colleagues. Management listens to feedback and acts. Your work and achievements are recognized, appreciated, and rewarded.
Cons
- Project management was an issue. Specially that the company was growing exponentially at a fast rate, so we couldn't say no to some extreme requests. - Work life balance was not good compared to other companies. But it was fun and exciting. - Salaries "were" below market average. - Work evaluation and appreciation can sometimes be unrealistic and harsh. You need to know how to handle that and this is common for most of the companies in the market.
