100% cold calling, do not let them fool you into thinking these are warm calls where there are already established relationships. If a relationship is established that means that customer is already one of your co-workers client and you are not allowed to talk to them. You need to be a telemarketer for this job, if you are used to a consultative sales approach you will fail here. The level of Micro Management is absurd, everything is measured and quantified and then reviewed twice a day with your manager Hostile work environment, it is every man for themselves and since there are no territories you have to get used to snakes stealing and calling on the clients you established a relationship with. Management will not care if the client was stolen as long as money was made! Arguably the most confusing commission schedule of any fortune 500 company. I asked people who worked there for 3 years how it worked and they were still confused, but they told me it is not good. This is a turn and burn boiler room sales environment!
