Ruthless/not allowed to take no for an answer “The related way” Difficult to get promoted unless you are “in the club” yet raises only occur when you are promoted Salary on lower end of spectrum but opportunity for bonuses and equity in deals once you’ve “done your time” In office 5x per week - non negotiable (although senior execs have been remote many Fridays while still having the rest of team come in) Inflexible hours/time commitment Upper management does not appear to value employees - they may sit a floor away but it feels a world away 401k match isn’t great Related management company has constant turnover at property-level which makes it tough to do your job well in the development world
