Pros
Great company, good science and competitive target discovery program. Smart pipeline, BD team gives generous resources to teams to get them into the clinic. Seems like a better place to work for more senior scientists rather than more junior employees. Overall good culture.
Cons
Unchecked management. Salary, benefits, and opportunity is good for NY, but it is weak compared to Boston or SF. Promotions in certain departments solely dependent on how popular you are and how busy you appear despite actual data/results. Poor management can inhibit learning opportunities immensely; I cannot stress that enough. Some managers exhibit complete lack of empathy and consideration for employees well-being - if it is not illegal, HR will stand with management.
