None. Unless you like 10-hour days with no overtime pay or time off in lieu, stone age paperwork processing, micromanagement and deeply unpleasant bosses.

Cons

Tons of unpaid overtime - if you leave on time it is frowned upon. If you are a family person do not join REGN, they don't care. They will work you to the bone and your family and mental health come last, not first. Control-freak atmosphere. Cameras everywhere, the legality of which is uncertain. Interminable and pointless meetings. It is very hard to work in Regeneron Limerick because you're either in a meeting, replying to an email or replying to an IM, or doing all three at the same time, or firefighting some issue from a rubbish test method or something else which definitely won't be actual scientific progress. Endless, soul-sapping company internal propaganda about being a Great Place to Work (it isn't -demonstratably) and doing things the Regeneron Way (whatever that is, it doesn't happen in Limerick). Regeneron absolutely love themselves in spite of being a very small player in the greater scheme of big pharma.

Pros

A company that’s not for everyone but if you’re committed, eager to progress, not afraid of hard work & responsibility then Regeneron is an excellent company to work for. The team in Limerick compromises of a lot of really down to earth, no nonsense, clever and hardworking people. Everyone shares a common goal and patients and patient safety are pivotal to everything the company stands for. The amount of giving back this company does for its local community is PHENOMONAL! On site you’re talking theee best canteen facilities, 2 gyms, a nail bar, barbers, car wash facilities, spectacular multi-story car park & safety in measures that make you see the employer cares about your well-being. Remuneration is very good and additional benefits exceptional. There is so much opportunity for career development and support for academic advancement. Overall, a superb employer that walks the talk!

Cons

The interview process can be lengthy but once you join and see the high calibre of employees based in Raheen you have to say perhaps there’s a logic and they do target the best people.

Impossible to get promoted unless you want to people manage, then you will rise through the ranks but you won't know what you're doing. Management lack all the skills needed to actually manage people. People becoming supervisors without meeting the basic requirements for the job ( degree and 5 yrs experience) and it shows. HR are able to move the requirements to promote who they want to when they want to. Pay rises differ from person to person, no transparancy as to why, people who fall into the same bucket at end of year reviews getting different pay rises but management don't know why? Promotion based on calibration sessions with people who may not even know who you are. Regeneron say they don't do forced rankings when they absolutely do. Regeneron want to be a great place to work but pay rises less than rate of inflation. I've heard working at Regeneron being described as a Golden cage, but to be honest it's more like the Emperors new clothes.

Distant Management, massive workload, pointless tasks given to workers who have actually work to do on the floor and are not stuck to a desk all day drinking coffee , always working in emergency state , Training inadequate and have to chase everything down yourself with no support

good craic, nice young crowd, great work experience, well paid, meaningful work, if you're good at what you do you are extremely trusted so no one breathing down your neck, work hard to be great and it becomes an lovely job. it will be neccessary to stand up for yourself a lot, if you are capable of this you will go far. lots of career oppurtunities if you are good you will advance very quick, if you are average you'll advance a lot slower but will advance nontheless.

canteen dinner food is like dog food a lot, very poor 90% of the time. a lot of insufferable incapable people in lead roles there, purely due to being there years

Too many… Lack of leadership Most of the people wanting to be Leads-Supervisor are actually snakes willing to do anything to be promoted. Blame culture. Lack of organization due to too many managers, supervisors, leads, seniors, etc. BPS stressing about processing deadlines while leads and Supervisors are well who knows?
