Pros
- The general people are amazing but that stops at Directors for the most part. - There are a few awesome programs that allow people to move internally. - The offices are nice and you can often find food and booze on campus. - The Launch program for college hires is a great program and allows the associates to move up the corporate ladder fast. - There are some great ERGs
Cons
-The compensation is terrible. You can work just about anywhere else and receive at least 30% more. - Overall the leadership is not trustworthy and that starts from the top. - The DEI efforts are performative and dangerous. The DEI team is not properly trained and they do not know what they are doing. They were all internal moves and they are in their roles because leadership knows they can control them. - Psychological safety is talked about from Ric and the rest of the senior leaders but its a load of BS. I have been in meetings where I saw leaders belittling people, screaming, and throwing/kicking things when they were frustrated. Many people are scared to speak up because if they do they are blacklisted. - The HRBP turn over is concerning since they are supposed to be leading company culture. Them leaving says a lot about leadership at RV. - Performance reviews are also BS. They are not equitable at all. They also say they are 'transparent' but they are NOT. - Tenure is very important to RV. They like to do things the 'good ol RV way'... its problematic and creates a 'Us vs. Them' feeling. - Just stay FAR away unless you want your happiness, confidence, and wellbeing impacted.
