Pros

- flexible work hours - high performing, friendly sales team - good market for products - get you work done and do what you are expected and don't have to do more/overachieve - great direct report manager - Bagels every Monday - Catered Lunch from a good restaurant voted by the sales team on the last day of every month - every one has open door/transparent policy that is welcoming - LGBTQ+ Friendly - Diverse Workplace

Cons

- not many spiffs available - no career path/advancement opportunities/raise - expensive benefits - poor HR department - disgusting, outdated office space - no rollover for PTO/Vacation - even if you've earned time off, you still need to put in requests on holidays or end of quarter - even though overtime is written in the comp plan, offer letter, you will never be able to take it - no travel, face to face customer opportunities - quarterly comp plans, if you don't sign, you don't get paid - 1 week paternity, 2 week maternity leave - limited product/features updates and releases throughout the year - limited work remote opportunities - outdated office equipment - zero team building activities

Pros

Laidback stress-free work environment Flexible hours Software is released when it is done (Management doesn't scream and push deadlines here. If a project isn't complete, well coded, and well tested, the release date is pushed back. As a software developer, this is the most valuable Pro.) Office is located next to the Sandy Springs MARTA and Costco

Cons

Paid vacation time during the first year is less than usual. You receive 10 vacation days after 1 year of service (15 days after 6 yrs, 20 days after 15 yrs) and are allowed to borrow 5 vacation days after working for 6 months. You also receive 1 floating holiday(a vacation day) per year after working for 6 months. The other aspects of the time off system are normal: 4 days accrued sick leave, 8 paid holidays. I'm guessing they used to give the vacation days up front but after a former employee worked for a few weeks, used all their vacation days and then never came back to work, they changed to this system.
