Made redundant after 7 weeks because my soft skills were 3 out of 5 for 1 week. Was an excuse as they hired too many people and could not afford to keep them ----Apparently you need to reply to emails within 2 hours ----They try to have you participate in a promotional video for the company before making you redundant afterwards ----HR lady was lounging on the sofa at home when she was having a meeting with me ---- Expect you to pick up Java in less than 2 weeks ---- Can't remember one person having anything good to say about the company while I was there ---- Management can take weeks to reply to emails if they reply at all ---- A very stressful and toxic environment

Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately, the business had to make some tough decisions last year, which led to a collective redundancy process. We maintain that we followed a fair process and that we did our best to explain our selection scoring process through our Employee Partnership group, and offer alternative roles where possible. The skills platform developed by the former Cloud Academy team was innovative and well-received by customers.

Cons

Since my voluntary departure, the company has proven to be unreliable and somewhat cagey. Under the terms of their articles of association and ISD, they had 12 months to repurchase my preferred shares. Nearly 18 months have passed, and they refuse to repurchase my shares or communicate any reasons for the delay. One might conclude that they are dealing with financial difficulties.
