Pros
good reputation time off when you need it as long as you ask in advance. decent hours time for personal life good job if you are going to college and dont have many bills( its enough for my car note and insurance payment, then having some money left) all in all good job for those that maybe live with their parents while going to college and dont have many bills to pay like myself (im a nursing student).
Cons
no set schedule, in order to have decent hours you have to have open availavility, i dont see how some workers that have households to support could hold another job with such an inconsistent schedule. Advancement seems really slow and maybe based on favoritism, rather than competence. I see a lot of part timers that have been there for ten years or a little more that havent been promoted to full time at least. if you arie promoted to full time they will work you like a dog. ive seen the poor cashiers there work 8-9 hour days without a break. Unless you are management you wont get paid much.
