There are as many cultures as there are departments. Very difficult to understand what it takes to advance as the rules change frequently. Significantly behind in technology in most areas. Not a great learning and development culture as you will not get the development or experience that you will find at other companies. Process heavy culture. You will spend most of your time learning Prudential processes and not building transferrable skills. No focus on change management making the current environment very unsettling. Limited career advancement because many in management have been in their roles for significant length of time and are not going anywhere.
