Pros

Wearing a lot of "hats" really accelerates learning a lot of different skills rapidly. The company overall tries to be very light-hearted and fun as much as possible to brighten up what would otherwise be a very dull industry.

Cons

Starting from the top, they lied to me in my interviews. They claimed working from home, flexible schedules, pro-parent culture, moderate workload, etc. I was told that I could earn working from home privileges over time, then I was told that I could only have 1 work from home day a month, no matter the circumstance (and they wanted to take that away too, saying my position didn't qualify for it... the only position in the whole company that didn't). My ENTIRE team could take as many work from home days they wanted (even though I was the only parent). One even claimed she needed to work from home because her dog missed her too much and it was granted. Proving that if you're an EA, they will imply that your children's needs are less than that of a dog. The workload was terrible. I was checking emails all night every night. No one cross-communicated, so executives would give me last minute work all the time and not even know or care that I was working on other urgent requests where everyone claimed the priority was the highest. Executives also were terrible at responding to emails or messages, so it made it frustrating and nearly impossible to complete the urgent requests where I needed additional information. The benefits are pretty terrible, especially if you're providing benefits for your family. Low coverage, high deductibles... bare minimum. The emergency childcare benefit they offer is fairly useless as the few times I tried to use it, there was zero availability and they told me that I actually needed to book a month in advance. They really don't appreciate EAs at all and have the minimum respect for Operations in general. Definitely do not recommend. Ignore the "best places to work" nonsense. They make it a requirement in their onboarding process for people to leave reviews immediately after starting with the company... and who would leave a negative review when you just joined a new company?

Pros

Good WLB Great Bosses Health insurance & benefits are awesome Very flexible workforce Easy to climb up in promotions

Cons

Pay is below standard (Although I feel you still get paid decently for the area) If you're put on a production project, be ready to feel stuck. Management is very lost on where they want to head into the future. I am worried this company won't last much longer (Former arthur anderson) Can feel clique-y at times amongst peers (but this is not a problem of the company specifically)
