Pros
Was a good place to start a career and get experience under the belt. Ambitious and nice group of people to work with which makes all the difference in making work palatable. Work-life balance. When times were good - company tried to create social, team-building environment.
Cons
Communication from upper management is lacking. Second round of layoffs - took management what seemed like a lifetime to decide who to cut. This fostered low morale, anxiety, and non-productivity. There's definitely favoritism and office politics. Rules can be bent if you have the right people on your side. Hiring and firing strategy seems contradictory. If there isn't enough revenue to support current headcount, why are offers still being made? Seems to make better sense to hang on to those you've already spent money recruiting and training. Company seems more concerned about their reputation from the outside, than how their employees feel from within.
