Pros
Protiviti is a great place to launch a career. You have the opportunity to gain valuable consulting experience, which is vital for building strong teamwork and client relationship-building skills. The firm has a great open-door policy where most upper management are very approachable (especially in the New York office). Most of the colleagues are in the similar age group which gives the office a fun atmosphere. Upper management are also very good at accommodating the staff's need to take time off.
Cons
The salary are not competitive with other competitors. The home-grown staff/managers are way underpaid comparing to their peers that came in from outside. The company also doesn't respond promptly to get the overall salaries adjusted. The company also lacks the brand recognition. This has been a challenge with the company since three years ago.
