Thank you for sharing how you feel to be working at Philips in Singapore. We're glad to hear that you appreciate our company's history, that you're happy with your colleagues and that your experience has also been positive when it comes to the opportunities to learn / grow. It’s unfortunate to hear that our internal structure and processes didn’t have a positive influence on your overall sentiment. We of course want our employees to get work done in an efficient matter; procedures and regulations shouldn't hinder progress or cause unnecessary delays. Your feedback is valuable to us and has been noted, but if you feel the need to further discuss this, then please feel free to schedule a meeting with your (HR) manager, to identify ways to optimize ease of work. Thank you again for saying a few words about your experience thus far. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
