Pros

My first few months were good when we had a real talent director, but EVERYTHING went downhill once they left. Let’s just say there’s a reason why this company has such a high turnover rate….

Cons

If you’re thinking of working (or investing here) DON’T. The ship is controlled by the CEO who doesn’t know the first thing about talent management. I don’t know much about the brand side but the talent management side is such a train wreck. It’s currently being run by employees that are doing their best to meet the continuously changing demands of the CEO. The unprofessional behavior I’ve seen here is horrible. Don’t let the flattery and shiny ideas talk you into working here. Everything is ALL talk and no action. The only action they seem to take is giving pay cuts to the hardworking employees and offering SUBSTANTIAL some questionable raises to others who can barely answer an email… Expectations seem to change weekly depending on the CEO’s mood. Some weeks you’ll be told to have a 40 talent roster, other weeks they’ll want to cut your entire roster. The narrative always changes making this an utterly exhausting place to work. HUGE red flag. There isn’t a single employee who isn’t thinking of leaving this company. The turnover rate should tell you enough. The CEO has pushed away all of his hardworking employees with his sketchy and unprofessional behavior. If your gut is telling you this place is shady, it’s because it is. RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros

I have learned more in 7 months as an EA at a startup than I could anywhere else. Working alongside the CEO has helped deepen my knowledge and understanding of business as a whole, as well as challenged me both personally and professionally. Excited to see how I can grow and progress in my role here.

Cons

Although it can be overwhelming wearing multiple hats, it has benefited my ability to multi-task and take on more and more responsibilities.

Pros

The talent management department is being held together by individuals doing their best in a broken system. A lot of great people there. That's part of why I signed on and because I believed what they sold me on. But unless you’re okay with being underpaid, unsupported, and complicit in misleading creators, stay far away The brand side may be ok, not sure, but any positive review re: management side is 100% fake

Cons

The company offers zero resources to support talent managers. I mean ZERO. They exclusively offer exclusive management, but expect you to manage 40–60 creators (not exaggerating) with no tools, no CRM, no systems, and no onboarding whatsoever, again not exaggerrating, literally not even one onboarding call. It seems too crazy to be real and it felt that way. This is not a real agency. It’s clear the strategy is to bring in as many creators as possible just to get their inbound deals, not to actually develop or support talent. The interview process is incredibly deceptive and so is the pay. The culture is all about appearances. Leadership, particularly the CEO, is focused on optics and investor relationships, not internal operations. The CEO brags about big-name investors while paying his team minimum wage in Los Angeles. It’s smoke and mirrors. Investors should be ashamed to be associated with this company.
