Pros
Not much if you want a career in security. Mind you all these companies seem to represent a type of McDonald's around here.
Cons
I received no incentive to continue working with Paladin, therefore I left. It was not paying my bills even with a fixed income and was costing me more in the long run to do out of town work. There are good people though but management takes advantage of them. What I have observed is the management environment of our paladin; You have your upper management that mess everything up in the attempt to balance payroll screwing guards out of OT and travel pay. You have the dedicated employees that believe they can make a career out of being security, so they are abused by the upper management, promised positions that are never delivered, accept the removal of OT hours, spend hours of free after hours work for a measly 12-14 dollars an hour with no raises. Then you have the favorites of management that get away with anything, aka sleeping on the job, totaling paladin vehicles, basically under qualified friends of management, these are the ones given the best positions supervisors and such. Then you have the rest like myself who see this company for what it is and do our time and run.
