Pros
The mission is important and the organization has some credibility mostly because of the senior leaders that pay to be a part of its membership.
Cons
It's a boys club and the founder is more interested in himself and his network than anything else. Leadership is all gay men, mostly white and the board is mostly white too. There is not one black person in senior leadership or the board. The founder does not like feedback and gets defensive quickly, which is unfortunate because if he would only get out of the way, the company could thrive. If you're a person of color, expect to have to fight daily battles to convince the founder he has blind spots. Would not recommend working here. The only reason so many private sector executives like him is because he looks like them/talks like them and the company gives them logo placement to say they're lgbtq inclusive.
