Pros
There are some really great people and some very good benefits but I wouldn’t work in a customer facing role at optus unless you wanted to hate your job.
Cons
Worked as an assistant manager/3IC in store during the optus data breach. Our store had lost our head store manager and assistant store manager, I was doing the job of 3 people for over 3 weeks. Upper management provided no support, we were getting abused in store every day by irate customers who didn’t care that our store had nothing to do with the data breach, but somehow we were to blame. I was paid absolutely not a cent more for working my butt off during this time.
