Pros

NOTHING I can or could ever think of is good about working for that place.

Cons

EVERYTHING, the big boss is a total $#@$#, constantly changing things with no regard to the employees, will throw tantrums in meetings like a child, speaks to employees like they are idiots...the list goes on and on and on....

Pros

The CSA (Cloud Solutions Architect) role is extremely challenging; in a good way. You are working with a variety of technologies surrounding the Microsoft Cloud / Azure space on a daily basis. You are also working with and teaching IT teams at companies across many different industries regularly; including working with teams at Microsoft as well. Also, the travel requirement of the position is balanced with the ability to "Work from Home" when not teaching at a client site. The role is very technical at times, very client facing others, and pushes your growth in tech and non-tech areas forward. As a "startup" type company, it's a very fast paced environment, and you are required to fill in the gaps when needed. "Startup Life" is not for everyone, but if you like to be challenged and have some variety in your career, it's generally worth it.

Cons

There are the usual Cons that every company has. No employer is all sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns. Management is generally reasonable and flexible, so this allows things to get worked through over time. People that don't like the "Startup Life" make complaints about "Work + Life" balance. Sure, it may be easy to get pulled in to working long hours, nights, weekends, or what ever, (this may actually be required to meet deadlines at time) but ultimately it's up to you on how you allow yourself to get pulled into that. This is no different with an Enterprise or any other company as it is with a Startup. Not so much a Con, but something all people in a professional career need to balance.
