Pros
Opsgility is a great place to work for. Work life balance is good. I have been working as a Sr Cloud Solutions Architect almost a year now, I teach IT teams (Engineers and Architects) of Enterprise Organizations. Mostly custom materials that are designed for each Organization’s specific needs. It’s challenging to fulfill their skill gaps and make them do their job easy within few days of training engagements. It is not a traditional training company where you read and teach from books and slides. It’s more like a consulting engagement and get to know your customers need beforehand, advice them what skill set they need for digital transformation and build custom materials for them. Lots of content update, new content builds and real time labs are required to create. I have been working in IT for many years and worked for companies like startup to large enterprises. My Manager trust us, does not micro-manage. He is super technical, understands priorities and assign workload based on our skill sets.
Great health care to be honest because my full family visit doctors very frequently. My previous company which was a Managed Cloud Service provider have global presence even did not offer this health care to be honest. Also 401k Matching is good. Another best part is the Management push you to learn Modern Cloud technologies using Companie’s credit. So as a Startup - it’s even better than some other big tech companies.
Cons
It’s a private startup company so Management always strive to do best and take the company to next level which is expected. Solid Future Growing plan which needs to stand out the company from competitors, Sharing Companies financial achievements and data transparently with Employees will give more confidence to Employees that Company is doing great, making profits and Financially stable.
