Pros

Ummm........can't actually think of any to be honest. Total let down of a company compared to what's described in the induction.

Cons

Have to work 6 weeks before receiving any money. If you submit your invoice wrong you won't know until the week the payment is due and then when you re-submit it you will then have to wait even longer for your money. You don't know when you are starting each day so if messes your sleep pattern as you don't know until the morning when they want you in. Terrible organisation in the depot as to loading your van from the locations in the depot. If you leave the company they will hold your money for up to 90 days, however legal advice tells me this isn't right, I've been left the company now 2 months and haven't received my last 3 weeks money yet, despite submitting my invoices on time. Have to travel from Southampton to Oxford just to get a tyre changed when it's worn, using your own fuel cost, what a joke. Avoid this company like the plague and one day Amazon will do something about them.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. Firstly all contractors are paid net 30 days from invoice submission, these are standard business to business terms across the industry and are made very clear to all contractors right from the onset before any contracts are signed. Each site has a specific wave time everyday, this is dictated by Amazon and One Motion have absolutely no control over this and although there aim is to keep this time the same every day there are sometimes variations as a result of many variables which are common place across the entire courier industry. We at One Motion do our best to inform contractors of any delays as early as possible to avoid them arriving at the delivery station earlier than is required. Again One Motion has no control over the specific setup of the loading location at the depot as the sites themselves are owned and managed by Amazon logistics. It appears that many of your grievances are with aspects of the job that are stipulated by Amazon yet you have placed the blame with One Motion? Obviously without knowing specifics i am unable to comment on any claims of withheld money, however if your hire vehicle was returned with damage then indeed your payments may have been withheld to cover the costs involved with repairing this vehicle.

Pros

Can’t think of any pros if I’m honest

Cons

They make work you like a dog, the fed ex system is the most ancient delivery system out of all the delivery companies I have worked for. They don’t pay on time. They also work with Amazon and some drivers work for both companies 7 days a week which is illegal for driving jobs

Pros

nothing- they make sure you work until you give them the most profit margin. Everything they can get out of you has been calculated to the penny.

Cons

paying them for using a van to do their job- paying for your own fuel- no job security or benefit - zero hours contract on steroids.
