Salary is above average for the area

Cons

management is not in tune with the needs of the employees and treats them poorly. There were so many issues with my direct supervisor and turnover in the employee pharmacy was so high due to the management style of the pharmacy manager. No work/life balance and no moral support given for a very high stress environment.

Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

Cons

sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
