The biggest con for me would be the benefits. I had to go to the doctor recently for a check up, and it cost me $175.00 which is NOT affordable under a NAVEX Global salary. I prioritized culture over benefits in my job hunt, but I’d say if the benefits don’t improve in the next couple of years, I’ll have to look elsewhere, especially as I start considering starting a family.
Also, the executive is almost exclusively white men, which is a huge red flag for me. It’s not that it’s a small team, either, there’s something like 15 people on it. It certainly causes me to question my long-term growth in the company as a woman. I would think diversity would be important to a leading company in the ethics and compliance industry. That was very disappointing to see in my first-day orientation.
