Pros

Great people to lean on when the boss goes a little nuts. And he will. But there are people to laugh with while you discuss his latest rant. Flexibility is usually on point. If you need a day or extended lunch is usually isn't a big deal if the work is getting done.

Cons

Potential to be a toxic environment. CEO is constantly yelling in a hugely unprofessional manner at whatever seems closest to him. Salarys are very low. They will take you for as low as they can get you. Benefits are almost laughable. You don't get 401K or Health insurance until one year after starting. Projects seemed limited and it could get boring quickly because of a small client base. This limits upward mobility. Don't expect to move very far.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, occasional free sox/bruins tickets.

Cons

Even after many years, Mittcom is still a tense, scarily-disorganized place. Sustained growth is rare. Turnover in the last five years has been a revolving door. The CEO refers to employees as a 'family', yet makes it very clear that he alone runs the show for any and all decisions. For some reason, there is a strict zero-tolerance WFH policy (you can't, that's the policy). Sexist attitudes and xenophobic language isn't uncommon. Visceral lack of authenticity from management. Quality and relevance of the ads do not matter. If we got paid; we did great. Oh; and no dental, no vision.
