Pros
On shift food discount is alright, and the company discount is good. Good progression opportunities if you get in with the right people
Cons
Higher mgmt don’t care about anyone below them or their wellbeing. You’d easily work 2 weeks without a day off, not take any holiday for a year, or consistent 70+ hour weeks and no one will check on your wellbeing. Even as a GM you’ll be told if you can’t find your own cover for your annual leave or even a funeral then you cannot have the time off. It’s truly baffling how some area managers get the job- especially when they have terrible hiring track records and seem to get off on firing people.
