Pros

Location is conveniently located by the freeway and the beach; Most of non-management employees are great to work with - you can easily create a small family within each department; The company is finally working it's way towards becoming an actual studio with new content and hiring real executives with legit experience.

Cons

Super catty and gossipy environment; The HR department has some of the most inappropriate employees I've ever encountered; The HR intern conducts the reference calls for MOST of the candidates, including VPs and above - how embarrassing! Imagine being a partner at an agency and you receive a call from someone sounding like they are 10 requesting your thoughts on a former employee. There is no growth opportunity. If you do get promoted, the title does not mean anything outside of the company. You can become a coordinator and promoted to manager, doing the same work and not gaining any development - which will hurt you in the long run; Too many egos and politics to navigate through; Letting go the wrong employees while supporting the inappropriate ones.

Pros

Benefits (Medical, 401K and Bonus)

Cons

The company was amazing to work at when Bill Block was CEO, but once Jon Glickman became the new CEO, the ambience and work ethics greatly deteriorated.
