Pros
Work/Life balance - most employees work a traditional 9-5 day Decent benefits Being a large company - good resume builder Pockets of good teams to work on Many perks for cultural events (i.e. free museum access, discount tickets etc.)
Cons
Constant change leaving no semblance of job security Downsizing has left too few workers to cover necessary functions Little concern for employees from Management (constant downsizing, job relocations) Very cheap - don't expect even the basic expense reimbursement (i.e. lunch while traveling) Horrible IT support - don't expect to have even basic IT needs met - often being told "it's not my job" or simply, "we can't help you" Middle management only looking out for themselves due to fear of losing job No visibility to upper management in most roles due to large and complex layers of management Even high performers aren't guaranteed current jobs or positions in other parts of the company Low salaries, but high expectations of employees Antiquated technology - both internal and customer facing Due to size of company, procedures slow down and inhibit job functions and growth
