Where to begin with this review? Masonicare is quite possible THE most toxic environment you will ever work in. Don’t get me wrong, there will probably be a handful of great people you encounter, but for the most part everyone from your direct supervisors to upper management is a complete and utter joke. The workers who show up to work everyday caring about their jobs and the residents are villainized on a daily basis because they are reported for menial and sometimes even highly skewed and outright false statements by the ones who could not care less If you have any college education or respect for yourself as a human being, STAY AWAY. Especially in my department you will find that you are 100% more qualified than the direct supervisor in this position. This will put a target on your back from her because she will realize that she has no business managing you and it will all spiral down hill from there. My final message for anyone considering applying or taking a job from masonicare would be: think about it long and hard. I got desperate and took this job solely because it was the first offer i got and I needed to get back to work and it was a massive mistake on my part. If you can afford to wait out the market a little longer, DO IT. This place simply isn’t worth it
