Pros
Good benefits and pay as well as vacation policies. Nice work life balance. No micromanaging. Flexibility to work from home. No "clocking in" and time monitoring. As long as you are productive and get your work done, hours are flexible. Good performance is rewarded. Very diverse and nice promoting within. Lots of involvement with the community and giving programs.
Cons
High transitions and turnover due to consolidation of roles makes which make tough workloads and a lot of stretched management. "Double hatting" is very common but leads to less efficient and present management. Department structure needs improvement for better processes and organization. Approvals take much longer due to management workload. Old technology and poor IT service and response due to off-shoring and no onsite support. Awful on boarding experience for myself and staff due to cut programs and staffing from HR/benefits support to training to the proper technology and even email/phone setup to get started. My new employee orientation was a month after I started. An employee of mine was 3 months after she started. Attire is business professional, even on select "jeans" days.
