Pros
- Ability to work from home during covid and limited ability to work from home now - Pay is decent for the area's cost of living
Cons
- Can expect long hour days and many times more than (39+) work week depending on the load - Expected to cover shifts and on-call although not previously disclosed as an activity being part of the job. - On-call and shift work can be on top of working normal hours (no consistency). On-call includes waking up in the middle of the nights and shift include 12 hours work days this includes weekends. - Understaff for on-call and shift, as other sites/department have their own oncall/shift team to keep consistency in employees schedule, more work life balance, and not disrupt biological clocks - Procedural controls can take an activities from 1 hour span to 2 days span
