      Pros

      Good training, Large Break Room, & Functional Bathrooms. Parking space availability is fair. Desk and chairs are fair. The office is also fairly secure from the outside public.

      Cons

      The training doesn't prepare you for the deep politics and hidden agendas of the local management. You will quickly learn that the company manual on policies and procedures are opposite of what the office actually does. If you make a suggestion, it will be taken as an serious issue with the company and you will be greeted by these words, "These are serious charges ...." People are a company's greatest asset, not the company's greatest liability. Its too bad that the local management does not understand this.

      Easy to learn, manageable schedule, supportive management

      Cons

      Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

      Pros

      The managers are very supportive when it comes to career development and mobility at Lumen.

      Cons

      Lumen has gone through several organizational restructures, which created uncertainty and placed additional responsibilities on frontline employees. While change is sometimes necessary, better planning and communication could help reduce the burden on customer-facing teams and improve the overall employee experience.
