Pros

Flexible work hours - come in between 7 or 10 and work 8.5 hours from there 401k matching 7% Occasional travel to Europe due to business trips Working level employees and locals are a nice group of hard-working people Organized training and special facility for training in Seeheim Germany. Great Product Advanced tools for analysis

Cons

German Glass ceiling (nationality and language barriers) Very Male (preferably German) preference for Sr. Management. Better promotion for interns and special program people (you train them, than they promote them) Cost cutting at the expense of locals while union safe Europe is protected EU employees with much better benefits. (pay, holidays, vacations ect) Cost a lot for stand-by tickets. Top managers rotate in from Germany every 4 years under ex-pat status, and not always qualified for their positions. Than need to be trained by their new staff. Problem managers are worked around, not disciplined. Uncompetitive PTO program (15 sick and vacation days combined) HR: not part of Passage. No personal touch or intro when your hired. Figure it out yourself approach. Germans working toward their next promotion, prioritizing based on what is good for their careers and not necessarily what is good for the company. 30 minute unpaid lunch hour
