Pros

I don't have any to share except that it was remote.

Cons

A Toxic and Hostile Environment for People of Color I’m writing this review to bring accountability to LucidLink for its mistreatment of people of color, especially women of color, in the workplace. My experience working under my direct manager was marked by bullying, microaggressions, and consistent gaslighting, creating a toxic environment with no HR support to address these serious issues. From the start, I felt cornered by my supervisor’s actions. When I raised ideas around adding accessibility or diversity to our campaigns, he responded with defensiveness and dismissive behavior, belittling my input. This pattern extended beyond professional differences — it became personal. My manager consistently undermined my contributions, messaging me at unreasonable hours, such as 6 a.m., to accuse me of not meeting ambiguous expectations, even after I submitted revised strategies and requested clearer guidance. During team meetings, he would privately Slack or text me, insisting I “show more enthusiasm,” “communicate more,” or “turn my camera on” — demands that felt intrusive and uncalled for, particularly when my camera was only off momentarily due to technical or personal reasons. This behavior felt targeted and added to the mounting pressure of being in an environment that lacked any real support for WOC. When HR was finally established, I reported these issues hoping for an improvement. Instead, my concerns were weaponized and used against me to push me out of the company. I am still working through the mental and emotional toll of this experience, which has left a lasting impact on my well-being. LucidLink has an accountability issue when it comes to diversity and creating a safe environment for all employees. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others and encourages LucidLink to address these serious issues with transparency and accountability.

Pros

The hiring team was interested more in thought process and my ability to connect the dots when discussing ambiguous challenges. They are also very focused on attention to detail in describing the benefits of past work to customers not just my past employers.

Cons

There is a large team in Bulgaria and there are some minor cultural differences, be sure to ask clarifying questions to ensure you have a good handle on whats being asked.

Pros

Great product and great colleagues (for the most part). Great work/life balance.

Cons

This company is not what it used to be unfortunately. Most people want the best, but poor management and competing priorities and processes are such a barrier in actually doing business. The wrong people are getting let go and some of the people who are still at the company are not doing their jobs properly or successfully. It's a real morale killer and it leads to confusion and anger. Some of the team are also creating a toxic culture, from management to sales to people & culture. It's just constant people blaming and no real answers. Just more powerpoint presentations and no actual substance. The sales process is ridiculous and the real problems are internal, not external. Walls and thresholds are created for no reason other than someone decided to without really thinking it through. When playbooks don't work, change the playbook. Stop creating more barriers and minimums, it's counterintuitive to new business when there is real competition. Nothing is going to change unless real and difficult decisions are made.
