Pros

When you join liberty you may notice some colleagues have been there 10, 20, even 30 years. For many, LM’s competitive pay, benefits, and room to grow keeps them locked in. I can see the appeal to this and have enjoyed a lot of my time here. The people I have worked with on my team over have also been very supportive, eager to learn and teach, and excited about innovation.

Cons

As with many large organizations, LM adapts to the market and business success. This means seasons of hiring and firing. The lows are very challenging for morale and it can be hard to pick back up on motivation especially if you are looking for external inspiration.

Pros

Highly competitive compensation, generous annual bonuses, and excellent bonuses such as 401(k) matching and annual credits, tuition reimbursement, childcare support, affordable healthcare, vision, dental, and additional unique benefits for all stages of life and discounts for fun things like shopping and products that may be of desire!

Cons

It is a competitive place for high performers, but it is motivating and not intimidating in my opinion!

Pros

Diverse culture, work life balance, flexibility

Cons

They go through layoff regularly. Lay offs are massive, whole organizations at a time. They have multiple waves a year. I’m not sure how anything gets accomplished from so much firing and hiring and moving. Whoever’s left takes the burden and realizes they’re next. It’s bad for motivation and productivity.
